What Does the PRC Have to Offer?
- we are compiling a library of DVDs, books, and pamphlets about specific topics
- we will do research for you to find answers, resources, and people to help your individual situation
- we are creating a social support network so parents can talk to other parents who are facing or have faced similar struggles
- we will be collecting children’s books to give away free to parent’s of children ages 0-5 to promote development of early reading skills
- we are compiling lists of services provided by local professionals and organizations for those who need them
- we are compiling lists of opportunities available locally for children (summer camps, family friendly events, scholarships, etc)
- we will provide assistance with the IEP process
- we will be offering Informational Events and more Fun Family Events
- we offer nonjudgmental emotional support to parents

Who Should Use the PRC? |
The PRC is for parents, teachers, family members, child care providers, and anyone involved in the lives of children.

Who is Running the PRC? |
The PRC is run by local parents. It is funded by grants from the Virginia Dept. of Education and is supported by the Lancaster County Public School system.
